Amazon Prime Day 2022: Tactical advice for sellers

Amazon FBA Sellers are getting ready for Amazon Prime Day 2022 (July 12-13). Gross merchandise volume will be massive, but not every category will benefit. For instance, books are not a strong category, but electronics are. Amazon’s use of Affirm will help sellers of more expensive items convert browsers into buyers, which will spread out payments.

My tactical advice to other U.S. FBA sellers: Set up Amazon Prime Day promos and coupons ASAP, if you can (book publishers excluded, unfortunately), prepare marketing and campaigns, and send inventory NOW if you can get it to Amazon FCs by July 4.
