Amazon over the summer began promoting the following topics on Seller Central, indicating that there are still compliance issues with customer review policies (do not request 5-star reviews or ask customers to take down negative reviews) and product inserts (thanking customers is OK, but don’t offer bribes, refunds, or other incentives for 5-star reviews).
All of this stuff is seller 101, but the problem is most new FBA and FBM sellers don’t bother reading the Amazon Seller TOS or going through Amazon’s Seller University to understand Amazon’s review policies … or they believe the scammy Amazon “experts” on YouTube promising instant riches through cheats, “hacks” and sketchy apps.
